We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person to join our global sustainability team as aSustainability Specialist. As a member of our Sustainability Community, you will work closely with the divisions (Buildings, Civil Engineering and Service Solutions) across all our domestic markets within the global team and benefit from a strong cross-sectoral network within Implenia. Your workplace will be our French-speaking site inOnex,Geneva.

Your tasks:

• Your area of expertise is environmental protection, sustainable construction and decarbonisation in our buildings, on our construction sites and production sites.
• For complex construction projects, you support our project teams in building and civil engineering on sustainable construction and environmental protection issues.

• You will develop sustainability concepts specific to offers for our clients.

• You will proactively contribute to the implementation of the Group’s sustainability objectives.

• You will actively communicate with Sustainability specialists from our divisions in the following countries: Switzerland, Germany, France, Austria, Sweden, Norway.

• You will promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge in sustainability and organise internal training sessions.

What you bring:

• Holder of a university degree or a university of applied sciences degree in the field of environment, energy, sustainable development, architecture, construction or civil engineering.
• Specialised in environmental protection on construction sites.

• You have several years of experience with energy and sustainable construction labels such as SNBS, Minergie-A-P-ECO, DGNB, LEED, etc.

• You have contributed to urban transformation projects integrating a sustainability strategy at the neighbourhood scale.

• You possess good knowledge of Swiss and European environmental laws, standards and regulations as well as corporate certifications (e.g. ISO 14001, Eco Enterprise).

• You have initial project experience in reuse and circular economy.

• You have very good knowledge of building materials and products, especially regarding their costs and impacts to guide choices according to these criteria.

• You have experience in carbon footprint calculation and implementation of CO2 emission reduction measures and energy efficiency improvements.

• You are familiar with the real estate and construction sectors and understand the entire value chain.

• You appreciate a cooperative approach and enjoy working in a team.

• You communicate effectively and appropriately to the audience and possess strong social skills and great reliability.

• You are solution-oriented, think analytically and are always open to new ideas.

• You have a very good command of French and English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
