Head Business Applications (a)

• You take over the strategic and operational management of our Business Applications – with SAP S/4HANA as the digital core and backbone of our global system landscape.
• You lead a dedicated team of highly qualified specialists in our Competence Centers – with plenty of room for personal responsibility, innovation, and development.
• You actively develop our application landscape further – efficiently, user-centered, and closely linked with our global business processes.
• Together with your team, you work closely with the departments to continuously question, optimize, and digitally rethink processes – always in harmony with our overarching IT architecture.
• You strengthen the global key user organization and support our Global Process Owners in the sustainable establishment of seamless processes.
• You are responsible for the design and implementation of seamless end-to-end business processes – ensuring they are optimally embedded in our application landscape.
• You negotiate and manage external partners and service providers – from consulting to application contracts – with a clear focus on quality, efficiency, and partnership.
• You ensure secure and compliant application usage – including authorization concepts and security policies.
• You are responsible for the entire Application Lifecycle Management – from selection through operation to continuous development.

• A completed degree in computer science or business informatics – or a comparable qualification with a solid technical and business foundation
• Experience in leading a Competence Center, ideally in the SAP environment of an internationally operating manufacturing company – you know how to motivate teams and successfully manage complex systems.
• Deep understanding of industrial business processes – from development through purchasing, sales, and logistics to production, finance, or PIM. You recognize optimization potentials before others feel them.
• Practical experience in project management – combined with solid knowledge of modern methods and tools (both classical and agile), with which you safely lead projects to completion
• High IT affinity and strong analytical-conceptual thinking, with which you not only understand processes but rethink them – and translate them into viable application solutions
• A communicative, assertive personality that clearly conveys complex topics – in German as well as English, with presence at all hierarchy levels
