About the job

The National Roads Department Area VI of the Civil Engineering Office of the Canton of St.Gallen makes a significant contribution to the safety of the national roads in the cantons of Glarus, Thurgau and St.Gallen through its maintenance work.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a

Road Maintenance Employee (m/f/d)

for the Thal depot, starting immediately or by arrangement

Workload: 100%

Workplace: Thal

What to expect

Signalling work for construction sites
Green and shrub maintenance as well as forestry work
Cleaning work
Road and civil engineering work
Operating vehicles and equipment
On-call duties during winter service and in case of accidents

What distinguishes you

Completed vocational training, preferably in the main construction trade, forestry, as a landscape gardener or as a maintenance specialist with a focus on depot services
Team-oriented, independent and reliable personality
Willingness for on-call duty and night work
Enjoyment of all road maintenance and winter service tasks
Driving licence category C/CE or willingness to obtain one
Ability to reach the depot within 20 minutes
