Job Description

Proper positioning of patients before, during and after surgery
Admitting and discharging patients
Ensuring a smooth surgical process in the area of positioning
Surgical positioning according to existing positioning schemes
Compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
Preparation and handling of medical devices and positioning guidelines
Adjusting casts as instructed by the doctor
Supporting the operating team in the operating theatre and taking on logistical tasks

Qualifications

Completed operating theatre positioning course or motivation to complete one
Several years of experience as a positioning nurse or several years of experience in the operating theatre in another role
Medical terminology must be known
Good or very good German skills, French is an advantage
High professional and social competence as well as ability to work in a team
A resilient and flexible personality as well as an independent, organised and responsible way of working
Willingness to embrace innovations and to develop professionally
Willingness to be on call
You possess good IT skills
