About the job
What to expect
- As a logistics specialist, you will have the opportunity to gradually gain your first leadership experience
- You actively support the team lead in managing a team of around 30 employees and are the main contact person for the team during your shifts
- You ensure a smooth, cross-shift operation of the daily business, focusing on picking from the small parts warehouse
- You actively participate in the daily business and are therefore always close to the action
- You accompany new employees during onboarding and pass on your expertise with knowledge and sensitivity
- You ensure clear information flow and communicate confidently with the relevant interfaces
- Together with your team, you ensure compliance with our delivery promise "Ordered today, delivered tomorrow"
- Your workday is varied: order volume, tasks, and team size vary
- You work in a young, dynamic AutoStore leadership team with job rotation within the four AutoStores
- You take on leadership tasks, promote employees, and actively contribute to new processes and workflows
- You lead your team even in challenging situations such as fluctuating order volumes, different customer order times, or system malfunctions
What you bring with you
- Completed vocational training, preferably in logistics
- Professional experience in a modern production and/or logistics environment
- Enjoy working with people and interest in a further leadership role
- Resilient, flexible personality who feels comfortable in a dynamic environment
- Very good German skills as well as user knowledge in Outlook and warehouse management systems
- Initiative, openness to change, and desire for continuous improvement
- Willingness to work weekly rotating shifts (early shift approx. 05:00 – 13:30, late shift approx. 13:30 – approx. 22/23:00, as well as seasonal Saturday shifts); mobility is required
