For our client, we are looking for a motivated Welder 100% (m/f/d) by arrangement
Job Description- Perform welding work on rail vehicles and their components
- Create welds according to relevant standards and manufacturer specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings as part of the welding work
- Strictly adhere to the specified welding instructions
- Independently prepare and organise your own work
- Regularly complete the required welder tests
- Support in upstream and downstream areas as needed
- Ensure high quality and compliance with applicable safety regulations
- Training or several years of professional experience as a welder, plant and apparatus builder, metalworker or in a comparable profession
- Solid practical experience in welding
- Experience in rail vehicles, vehicle construction or metal industry is an advantage
- Knowledge of standards EN 15085 and EN ISO 3834 is an advantage
- Valid welder certifications are an advantage
- Confident reading of technical drawings
- Independent, reliable and quality-conscious working style
- Willingness to perform physically demanding work
- Flexible and versatile work attitude
- Good knowledge of German
Special Requirements for the Activity
The welding work is partly carried out under physically demanding conditions. These include, among others:
- Overhead welding
- Working in a kneeling position
- Working under the underframe of rail vehicles
Corresponding physical resilience and mobility are therefore required.
