About the job
The Institute for Retail Management (IRM-HSG) at the University of St.Gallen is looking for two student assistants (m/f/d) (40%) to start immediately or by arrangement for the Gottlieb Duttweiler Chair of Prof. Dr. Thomas Rudolph.
The Institute for Retail Management pursues an application-oriented research approach in the areas of strategic retail management, e-commerce, and consumer behavior. In cooperation with around 20 partner companies (including Manor, Migros, Lidl Switzerland, Aldi Suisse, etc.), Prof. Rudolph and his team deal with research- and practice-relevant challenges. Our institute regularly publishes practice-relevant publications, trend reports, and the "HSG Retail Briefing" podcast to convey current insights to the industry. You will actively participate in the research and content preparation of these formats and support us in designing and further developing our communication channels.
- Collaborate on publications and releases (practice articles, trend reports, podcast, and studies).
- Create presentations for lectures and workshops.
- Prepare our bachelor and master courses.
- Design and further develop our communication channels.
- You are a HSG student at bachelor or master level.
- You have a digital affinity and are very familiar with MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and/or have an interest in new IT applications.
- You have a confident command of written language and enjoy writing texts.
- Interest in retail management and the consumer goods industry.
- Communication and teamwork skills, reliability, independence, and carefulness in your work style.
- Creativity at work.
- High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and issues.
- Willingness to commit for at least one year.
- Willingness to be predominantly on-site.
