Your tasks

• Planning, execution, and monitoring of Windows patch cycles.
• Management of security updates for Windows servers.
• Testing patches in test environments before rollout.
• Customer support regarding their ICT work environment, as well as analysis and resolution of issues after updates.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Creation of documentation and operating instructions.
• Collaboration with infrastructure, security, and application teams.
• Automation of patch processes and reporting.

This position may include an on-call duty in the future.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in system engineering (Windows Server and Linux).
• Education in computer science (EFZ, HF/FH) or comparable academic degree.
• Knowledge in patch and update management (WSUS / SALT / ANSIBLE).
• Experience with IT security and compliance requirements.
• Analytical, structured, and independent working style.
• Experience in testing, error analysis, and documentation.
• Understanding of complex IT environments with a high quality awareness.
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form, ideally English or French skills.
