Tasks

In the first phase, you would be deployed as a mover driver and perform the following tasks:

• Transferring swap bodies between yard vehicle and railway wagon
• Coupling and uncoupling swap bodies
• Loading and unloading as well as provision of swap bodies

• After passing the exam, function-specific activities (shunting) will be added to the tasks mentioned above
• In a further step, training as a locomotive driver is possible if suitable

Requirements

You have completed training (EFZ/EBA) and would like to be trained as a shunter category A40.

• Driving licence category B
• Physically fit and resilient
• Good German skills in spoken and written form
• Working in shift work (Monday to Sunday)
