Pension Administration Switzerland is responsible within the Operations Division for supporting insured persons, affiliated companies, and partners in all matters of occupational pension provision. The unit combines expertise, customer orientation, and efficient processes for reliable handling of pension business.

As a foundation accountant, you independently manage a portfolio of pension institutions and ensure correct, timely, and transparent financial accounting. You are responsible for payment transactions, perform reconciliations, and contribute to annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26. With your structured working method and quality awareness, you make an important contribution to the financial management of the foundations you support and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

What to expect

• You independently manage the financial accounting of pension institutions and are also responsible for securities accounting.
• You post, book, and reconcile daily incoming and outgoing payments and ensure timely processing of payment transactions.
• You reconcile bank accounts, securities holdings, and interfaces between technical accounting and financial accounting.
• You contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26.
• You prepare evaluations, documents, and statements for audits, withholding tax, and dunning procedures.
• You are the contact person for internal and external audits and accompany the audit processes.
• You participate in projects, actively shape digitalisation and process optimisation, and take on mutual deputising within the team.

What you bring

• You have a commercial basic education and several years of professional experience in accounting.
• Ideally, you have experience in accounting for pension institutions or pension funds.
• You are familiar with preparing annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP FER 26.
• You work confidently with MS Office, especially Excel, and handle numbers and large data volumes with ease.
• You think analytically, work in a structured and precise manner, and like to take responsibility.
• You are a team player, communicative, show initiative, and are open to digitalisation, change, and new topics.
