About the job

For our new bakery team at the Cham location, we are looking for several humorous, flexible and motivated personalities starting 1 September 2026. With us, you will have the opportunity to carry out your work in a unique environment and at a top modern workplace. In doing so, you support the integration of people with disabilities into the labour market. 

The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 people with disabilities protected workplaces and day structures. The employees are guided at work by 170 specialist staff. 

These are your versatile tasks

• Alternating and independent management of the various stations in the bakery 
• Picking bakery products according to delivery note
• Guiding, challenging and promoting employees in the second labour market
• Compliance with all hygiene regulations 
• Compliance with accident prevention regulations
• Receipt and inspection of goods deliveries
• Duty to inform superiors of relevant matters
• Participation in inventory management and warehousing
• Cooperation with social partners (guardians, etc.)
• Precise and responsible working
• Development & support in building a new branch concept
• Participation in all cleaning tasks and control of final cleaning

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training as baker - confectioner 
• Quick comprehension and good expertise
• Enjoyment in working with people from the second labour market
• You are an entrepreneurial thinking and loyal person
• Willingness to work in a structured way and to set clear rules
• Patience, resilience, tolerance and a pronounced sense of order and cleanliness
• Reliability and flexibility (including weekend shifts)
• Team spirit as well as high social competence, empathy and motivation
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Impeccable reputation
