Job Description

• Proper positioning of patients before, during and after surgery
• Admitting and discharging patients
• Ensuring a smooth surgical process in the area of positioning
• Surgical positioning according to existing positioning schemes
• Compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
• Preparation and handling of medical devices and positioning guidelines
• Adjusting casts as instructed by the doctor
• Supporting the operating team in the operating theatre and taking on logistical tasks
• Start of work by arrangement

Qualifications

• Completed operating theatre positioning course or motivation to complete one
• Several years of experience as a positioning nurse or several years of experience in the operating theatre in another role
• Medical terminology must be known
• Good or very good German skills, French is an advantage
• High professional and social competence as well as ability to work in a team
• A resilient and flexible personality as well as an independent, organised and responsible way of working
• Willingness to embrace innovations and to develop professionally
• Willingness to be on call
• You possess good IT skills
