For the Monitoring Systems group, we are looking for a
Your tasks
- Development of measurement concepts for the release of materials and spaces, with a focus on (in-situ) gamma spectrometry, including documentation
- Design, layout, and supervision of measurement monitoring systems in the field of radiation protection (wastewater, exhaust air) and creation of technical specifications and operating instructions
- Preparation of documents within the framework of the corresponding approval procedures for the authorities
- Organization and execution of radiation protection-related measurements on various issues (characterization, clearance, etc.)
- Supervision of gamma spectrometry measurement sites
- Participation in expert committees
Your profile
- Bachelor of Science (applied physics or radiation protection)
- Knowledge in the field of radiation protection and measurement technology required
- Knowledge in the field of emission monitoring is an advantage
- Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
