For the Monitoring Systems group, we are looking for a

Your tasks

Development of measurement concepts for the release of materials and spaces, with a focus on (in-situ) gamma spectrometry, including documentation
Design, layout, and supervision of measurement monitoring systems in the field of radiation protection (wastewater, exhaust air) and creation of technical specifications and operating instructions
Preparation of documents within the framework of the corresponding approval procedures for the authorities
Organization and execution of radiation protection-related measurements on various issues (characterization, clearance, etc.)
Supervision of gamma spectrometry measurement sites
Participation in expert committees

Your profile

Bachelor of Science (applied physics or radiation protection)
Knowledge in the field of radiation protection and measurement technology required
Knowledge in the field of emission monitoring is an advantage
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
