About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. For our long-term care at the Brühlgut Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for around 100 residents and 30 tenants in assisted living, we are looking for a reliable, committed and interested individual immediately until mid-June 2026.

Your Tasks

Assistance in needs- and resource-oriented, individual care and support within the key worker system

Participation in needs-based daily activities for the residents

Willingness to work shortened shifts

Deployment only during day shifts (early and/or late shift)

Weekend work

Your Profile

Training as a care assistant, health and social assistant, or SRK care helper with at least 1 year of professional experience

Independent, committed, resilient and responsible

Experience in long-term care and PC user skills

Understanding of the Swiss dialect as well as good oral and written German skills (at least B1)
