Receiving orders
organising the dispatch (allocating trucks/drivers)
communicating with forwarding and warehouse staff
occasionally supporting the internal office with transport order entry
notifying the customers
resolving problem cases
general administration
Requirements
Apprenticeship as forwarding agent or training as transport dispatcher
possibly some initial experience in domestic dispatch (freight), good geographical knowledge of Switzerland
IT
MS Office programmes: good user skills
Languages
German: m+s very good
French: m: intermediate to good
Age
up to approx. 34 years
Start Date
possible at short notice, or by arrangement

The position is aimed at a younger, independent person who enjoys and is good at working with people (drivers, customers, partners, etc.)
Positive: Working hours are within the usual range (no early shifts from 04:30/05:00 as sometimes found in transport).
