Ensure electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting Graduate Program, you will get to know the core processes of Swissgrid. The stations are tailored to your needs and can be adjusted during the program. In our Business Unit Market, you can accompany the heart of Swissgrid – the Control Center – and participate in important projects. There you have the opportunity to gain an exceptionally deep insight into system operation and market design. The Business Unit Grid offers comprehensive insights into asset management, covering strategic planning, data management, project development, and asset operation. You can strengthen your technical skills in our Business Unit Technology and learn about the backbone of the Swiss electricity supply from a digital perspective.

We are looking for an enthusiastic personality with an independent and assertive working style, great interest in engaging with new topics, and driving projects forward. You are a team player and like to show initiative. In addition, you bring the following:

• Completed master’s degree (Energy Science, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar) with a focus on the energy industry
• Proven achievements in successfully completed projects
• Enjoyment in getting to know the operation of the Swiss transmission grid
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as high performance and willingness to learn
• Good programming skills (Matlab, Python, VBA, etc.)
• Very good German and/or French skills, good English skills
