What Awaits You

Over 18 months you will get to know different areas of a bank and acquire broad knowledge as well as a large network. The practical relevance is high and your personal development immense.

At the beginning, you take the plunge into cold water and directly serve customers in the customer zone. You also advise on the phone, provide information, and create contracts and documents on the PC.
The internship takes you further into asset management, the credit advisory center, and telephone customer service.
You analyze balance sheets, check financing, participate in customer meetings, and much more.
Internal training enriches your education and prepares you ideally for the final exams.
With us, you get involved directly and work independently. It is important to us that you participate in daily business and thus get to know the processes of a bank.

You get the theory at the Center for Modern Learning (CYP). In a modern learning setting, mainly banking knowledge is covered as well as advisory and sales skills are taught. This part of the training lasts 16 days and takes place in various modules.

Your Team

During the training you are never alone, you always have mentors by your side and learn step by step. You are also part of a large trainee community at Baloise that supports each other and exchanges actively.

So if you are sociable, responsible, and reliable, these are already good prerequisites. You should also enjoy communication. This is shown, for example, in language skills, the ability to express yourself well, and pleasant manners. What else do we expect?

A prerequisite for an internship is a gymnasium diploma, an apprenticeship with vocational baccalaureate, or the commercial secondary school with vocational baccalaureate.
Your German skills are very good and you enjoy expressing yourself in writing. In addition, you can communicate in simple words in English and French.
You can think logically and like working with numbers - you have good basic knowledge in all school subjects.
You show openness in dealing with colleagues and customers.
You are discreet - our customers must be able to trust us.
You have the drive to successfully master even difficult things.
