About the job

Our senior centre in Wangen SZ offers a home to 63 residents with varying care and support needs. We operate two nursing stations with 21 rooms each, a closed residential group with 9 beds, as well as a supported residential group in the annex with 12 rooms. Our team of dedicated professionals works daily to enable residents to live a dignified and fulfilling life.

From 1 October 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a competent and committed individual as:

Facility Maintenance Specialist EFZ / Caretaker 100% as Technical Service

Your tasks

• Monitoring and maintaining all grounds, buildings, rooms and technical facilities as well as timely reporting of faults
• Carrying out or commissioning and supervising repairs
• Assisting with residents' moves
• Key responsibility
• Purchasing and ordering
• Assuming the role of safety officer
• Plant care / garden maintenance
• Seasonal snow ploughing / cleaning the forecourt
• Creation and implementation of material and equipment management guidelines

Your profile

• Completed vocational training and/or further training as a caretaker with a federal certificate of competence and/or training as a facility maintenance specialist EFZ
• Experience as a caretaker in a senior centre is an advantage
• Flexible, resilient and team-oriented personality
• Good technical understanding and manual skills
• You have good manners, a neat appearance and a confident demeanour
• Enjoyment in working with senior citizens
• Driving licence category B
