Your Tasks
- Senior medical activity in the Department of Pneumology with certified weaning centre and accredited sleep laboratory
- Participation in inpatient and outpatient pneumological patient care
- Close cooperation with the interdisciplinary pool of assistant physicians from the Departments of Internal Medicine, Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine and Cardiology
- Performance of all common pneumological diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including cryoprobe, miniprobe and CT-guided punctures
- Co-responsibility for the professional supervision and training of medical staff
- Support of the department management in organisational and conceptual tasks
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with the Clinic for Internal Medicine and Intensive Care
- Participation in quality assurance and further development of the department
- Ensuring patient-centred and guideline-compliant care
Your Profile
- Specialist in Internal Medicine and Pneumology, ideally with additional qualification in Intensive Care Medicine
- Additional qualifications in sleep medicine and/or allergology are desirable but not mandatory
- Several years of clinical experience in pneumology
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration as well as mentoring and training of junior colleagues
- Organisational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with patients, relatives and staff
- Valid specialist knowledge certificate in radiation protection according to § 3 para. 3 no. 2 RöV including necessary updates
