The Institute for Mobility at the University of St.Gallen (IMO-HSG) is dedicated to future-oriented mobility solutions. At its core, it focuses on the ecological, economic, social, and behavioral investigation and classification of modern forms of mobility and the development of holistic mobility concepts. To this end, the IMO maintains a close-knit network with research institutions and mobility experts, especially from Europe, the USA, and China. Additionally, the IMO is closely connected with decision-makers from politics and business. This corresponds to the IMO's stated goal of constructively shaping the current mobility transition.
Your Tasks
- Independent work on projects related to new mobility offers and concepts as well as individual and collective mobility behavior. The projects are usually carried out in cooperation with our partners from industry, politics, the consulting sector, as well as renowned forums and associations.
- Support in university teaching as well as participation in internal projects for institute development.
Your Profile
- A completed university degree in economics or social sciences or another field related to mobility
- A strong interest in mobility topics
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility, organizational talent, as well as a high degree of initiative and flexibility
- Very good language skills in German and English
- Meeting the formal requirements for a doctorate at the University of St. Gallen (minimum grade average 5.0 (CH) or 2.0 (DE), doctoral admission at the home university)
