We are a bilateral foreign chamber of commerce with over 100 years of history, whose goal is to support companies in economic relations between Germany, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. For the team at the Germany-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce, we are looking for a clerk in accounting with a focus on VAT, starting immediately or by arrangement.

Your area of responsibility:

Your tasks include in particular:

• supporting cross-border VAT issues from the perspective of Swiss VAT law
• VAT fiscal representation in Switzerland, especially reviewing, preparing and submitting VAT returns for foreign companies to the Swiss Federal Tax Administration

Your profile:

We are looking for a customer-oriented personality who supports our team and enjoys telephone customer contact as well as personal consultation. As a team player, you act flexibly and reliably. You work through your tasks in a structured manner and have an eye for detail. Your background should be:

• commercial basic training, clerk in accounting advantageous
• experience in Swiss VAT law required
• confident German language skills in writing and speaking
• common MS Office user skills
• enjoy working independently
• precise and reliable working style as well as a strong understanding of numbers
• good communication skills, team spirit and resilience
