For this strategic key position in the nursing directorate, reporting directly to the CNO, we are seeking a visionary and scientifically grounded individual who actively shapes the further development of nursing at the organisational level. In close collaboration with the nursing directorate, clinical departments, and Advanced Practice Nurses, you will shape the nursing practice of tomorrow and promote evidence-based, innovative, and patient-centred care. Your work lays the foundation for the highest nursing quality, sustainable competence development, and a future-proof nursing organisation.
Your responsibilities
Professional and personnel leadership of the nursing expert team
Leading, promoting, and mentoring nursing experts as well as further developing, evaluating, and anchoring APN roles and areas of expertise
Developing and implementing the strategic direction of nursing professional development
Deputising for the Head of Nursing Education
Contributing to organisation-wide strategy and development projects
Further developing clinical nursing practice with a focus on evidence-based practice, patient safety, and person-centred care
Developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative nursing models and care concepts
Promoting the translation of scientific findings into clinical practice
Accompanying and supporting overarching professional and quality committees (e.g. CIRS)
Co-designing quality management, continuous improvement processes, and nursing-relevant quality indicators
Supporting and enabling shared leadership teams together with the Head of Nursing Services
Initiating and participating in research, innovation, and development projects
Monitoring developments in healthcare and deriving and implementing strategic measures for the nursing organisation

Your profile
Qualification as a nursing professional HF/FH or Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as Master of Science in Nursing Sciences (MScN) or comparable university degree
Ideally a doctorate (PhD) or proven scientific expertise
In-depth knowledge of nursing development, quality management, evidence-based nursing, and advanced nursing practice
Several years of experience in a nursing development, nursing science, or advanced nursing practice role
Experience in project management as well as change and quality management
Strategic and networked thinking with an eye for organisational contexts
Convincing communication and networking skills at all hierarchical levels
High initiative, reflective ability, and willingness to shape
Assertiveness, resilience, and strong social competence
