The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory for a total of 1,000 beds. The organization allows for an effective combination of local approach and overall vision, ensuring the population a comprehensive and accessible hospital offer, regardless of where the services are required.

Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relationships, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients per year and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.

To complete our urology service team at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for:

Urology Assistant Doctor (100%)

The urology service of the Regional Hospital of Lugano represents a rapidly expanding service with an ambitious growth plan at the cantonal and national level.

Essential requirements:

• degree/diploma in medicine and surgery with relevant registration at MedReg before starting work.

For doctors with foreign qualifications: recognition by the Federal Commission for Medical Professions MEBEKO and relevant registration at MedReg before starting work is mandatory;

• proven knowledge of the Italian language (minimum required level B2) with relevant registration at MedReg before starting work, knowledge of English is desirable;
• proficiency in IT tools;
• constructive and proactive attitude;
• strong availability and willingness to work in a team;
• interest in clinical/translational research in the urological field;
• educational interest in urology (surgical and outpatient)
