Permanent position
The UDEM is the largest Metabolic Clinic in Switzerland and provides comprehensive medical care for diabetes, hormonal diseases, nutritional medicine, metabolic disorders, obesity, and bone diseases. A strength of UDEM is the close connection between clinical patient care and research, for example through clinical cohort studies.
Tasks
Covering daily business cohort study
- Care of study participants: Recruitment/information of interested parties, obtaining patient consent, planning and supporting study visits, supporting and planning events with study participants
- Data-related work: Data entry, transfer of data from patient information systems, data verification/quality checks, preparation of sample material for storage in the biobank
- Support compliance with legal requirements: Monitoring implementation
Requirements - What do you bring
- Professional experience in organizational support in the healthcare or medical research field, e.g. as a medical practice assistant, healthcare specialist, medical secretary, study assistant, research associate, etc.
- Above-average organizational skills, independence in work organization and planning
- High understanding of data handling (data collection, data entry, data extraction from patient information systems, data quality checks)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proactive approach to various stakeholders, high interdisciplinarity
- Fluent language skills in German (spoken and written), good English skills (primarily written)
