About the job

The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. For our long-term care at the Brühlgut Retirement Home, which provides a well-maintained home for around 100 residents and 30 tenants in assisted living, we are looking for a competent, enthusiastic, and team-oriented leader from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement.

Your Tasks

Operational management and independent organisation of the residential group

Ensuring professional care and support for the residents

Responsibility for the personnel and professional leadership of the care and support team

Interdisciplinary collaboration, including with the medical service, therapies, care expert, customer advisory, and hospitality

Responsibility for RAI classification

Your Profile

Qualification as a registered nurse HF/FH with management training or willingness to undertake it

Several years of professional experience, leadership experience advantageous

High social competence and communication skills with strong commitment and reliability, even in demanding situations

Great independence and dedication as well as innovation and openness to change processes

Quick comprehension, networked thinking with good analytical skills

Willingness to participate in direct care and support

Fluent German and very good MS Office skills (RAI/PEP knowledge advantageous)
