Export Specialist 80 - 100%
In this exciting role, you will be jointly responsible for the operational support of major export customers as well as ensuring the order processing workflow.
WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE:
- Professional responsibility for international export processing
- Organisation of international transports by truck as well as by sea and air freight (including procurement of transport quotes and awarding of transport contracts)
- Ensuring compliance with all customs, export control and foreign trade regulations
- Preparation, review and management of certificates of origin, supplier declarations and preference documents
- Maintenance and further development of origin and preference systems
- Contact person for authorities, customs offices, freight forwarders, external partners
- Advising internal departments on customs tariff classification, free trade agreements and export processes
- Participation in audits and support with customs and origin checks
- Analysis and optimisation of existing export, customs and transport processes
- Participation in projects in the area of digitalisation and automation of export processes
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:
- Commercial basic training with further education in foreign trade, customs or supply chain management
- Several years of professional experience in export and customs in an internationally active company
- Sound knowledge of Swiss customs legislation as well as free trade agreements
- Experience in the area of goods origin and preferences
- Good knowledge in transport, logistics and Incoterms®
- Confident handling of ERP systems as well as common MS Office applications
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Communicative personality with a strong service orientation
