Senior M&A/Corporate Development Manager
As part of a small and highly effective team embedded within Group Finance, you will support Sonova’s growth agenda through strategic M&A and corporate development activities. You’ll work across functions and geographies to identify opportunities, structure deals, and execute transactions that deliver long-term value. More about the role
- Lead or support M&A transactions at Group level, from evaluation to execution
- Develop business cases and valuation models to assess strategic opportunities
- Coordinate and lead due diligence activities, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare management decision papers and presentations for senior leadership
- Structure deals, including financial and tax considerations, and drive/support the negotiation processes
- Oversee post-merger transition activities such as business case validation and purchase price allocation (PPA)
- Ensure consistent monitoring and documentation of the M&A decision-making process
More about you
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in M&A, corporate development, or transaction advisory
- Advanced analytical, financial modelling, and valuation skills
- Structured, independent thinker with strong business acumen and project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across functions and cultures
- Master’s degree, MBA, or CFA qualification preferred
- Experience in healthcare, medtech, or related industries is an advantage
- English language is a must; German, French, Chinese and/or Japanese is a plus
