Role:
The company is an internationally active player in the energy sector and actively shapes energy supply and its further development. The business activities include the production, marketing and trading of energy as well as the development of renewable energy solutions.
Employees work in a dynamic environment with different specialist areas and international interfaces and can contribute to the further development of a rapidly changing energy market.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you independently manage several accounting mandates and oversee all periodic closing tasks.
You ensure the correct reconciliation of intercompany transactions and support group reporting and consolidation.
For reports and audits, you prepare relevant financial information and closing documents and work closely with internal and external contacts.
Your responsibilities also include accounts receivable and bank accounting with invoicing and dunning as well as support in accounts payable.
With tax declarations, budget planning and liquidity management, you take on further central tasks and contribute to the development of processes.
Qualifications:
A commercial basic education with further training in accounting or a business degree as well as solid professional experience form your foundation.
You are familiar with the relevant accounting standards and have good knowledge in the tax area; IFRS experience is especially welcome.
You have very good Excel skills, while knowledge of SAP and ideally Tagetik complement your profile.
A pronounced problem-solving competence, communication skills and a high degree of self-organisation help you to confidently handle even complex tasks.
Fluent written and spoken German, good English skills.
