Your Tasks

• As a member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you care for patients in an outpatient setting and competently accompany them throughout the entire treatment process.
• After thorough training, you conduct psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments and treatments under senior physician supervision and gradually take on responsibility in clinical routine.
• In interdisciplinary case discussions, you actively contribute your professional expertise and have the opportunity to participate in specific group offerings if interested.
• Individual therapy planning, careful documentation of the treatment course, as well as the preparation of medical reports and expert opinions are part of your diverse responsibilities.
• Close and solution-oriented collaboration with referring agencies, relatives, and authorities is an important part of your daily work.
• With your expertise, commitment, and ideas, you actively contribute to interdisciplinary cooperation and help shape the further development of Psychiatry St.Gallen.

Your Profile

• A completed degree in human medicine in Switzerland, an EU or EFTA country forms the professional basis for this position; for degrees obtained abroad, MEBEKO recognition is also required.
• Professional experience in inpatient psychiatry as well as advanced training towards becoming a specialist physician enable you to confidently start this demanding role.
• Enjoyment in working with mentally ill people and in interprofessional collaboration characterises your patient-centred working style.
• Flexibility, resilience, and an open, appreciative communication style in dealing with patients and team members are among your personal strengths.
• High commitment, creativity, and very good German language skills in spoken and written form at least at level C1 enable professional communication in clinical routine.
