Catering Staff

Do you enjoy preparing delicious and healthy food for children? Is a balanced, child-appropriate diet close to your heart? Then we have the right job for you! The care service of the City of Zug offers kindergarten and primary school children a place to play, create and relax with a shared midday meal. We are expanding our care locations and are looking for open-minded and warm-hearted employees who will complete our team with lots of joy, humour and passion from 1 August 2026.

Tasks

• You conjure up lunch for children and young people
• You plan, order and procure meals as well as snacks
• You ensure hygiene and food safety in the kitchen
• You take care of washing/cleaning tasks and tidiness

Expectations

• Completed basic training with further education or completed training in the field of housekeeping
• Good German skills and confident handling of digital tools
• Self-responsibility, flexibility and organisational talent
• Enjoyment in contact with children from different cultures
• A dose of empathy, humour and calmness when things get hectic
