Zurich Airport Ltd operates Switzerland's nationally and internationally established transport and meeting hub - Zurich Airport. As a wildlife management employee, you ensure the prevention of disruptions to flight operations caused by living nature and the protection of the exceptional fauna in the non-public airport area.

Your job destination

• Operational prevention of bird strikes (biological flight safety)
• Taking measures in case of operational disruptions caused by animals on the airport premises
• Wildlife counting, monitoring of the wildlife population (data collection) as well as patrols within the perimeter
• Ensuring further action when alarm organisations are called out due to problems with wildlife (24/7)
• Assistance with wildlife projects
• Maintenance of hunting facilities
• Tours on the topic "Nature & Technology"
• Winter service between October and April in a 24-hour incident organisation

Your skills in your luggage

• Hunting licence, hunting supervisor examination of the canton of Zurich advantageous
• Training and/or further education in the "green" sector advantageous
• Independent and responsible working style
• Flexibility regarding working hours
• Driving licence category B mandatory
• Good knowledge of German
• Good MS Office user skills
