Why join us?
Within the Childhood and Youth Service, whose missions are the promotion, prevention and protection of youth, you will join the Office for the Promotion of Children and Youth (BPEJ), which is tasked with developing the childhood and youth policy of the canton of Fribourg. The BPEJ's services are particularly aimed at municipalities, relevant state services, youth associations, youth groups and organisations supporting childhood and youth.
The cantonal FriTime project offers all municipalities in Fribourg the opportunity to set up extracurricular activities for children and young people, closely involving the local associative network and valuing voluntary work in favour of childhood and youth. The internship offered for a duration of 6 months (possible extension) is responsible for coordinating FriTime, in collaboration with its committee.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November 2026.
Your tasks
- Promote the FriTime project to the municipalities of Fribourg, inform and support them in the local development of the project
- Carry out the administrative and operational follow-up of the activities of the member municipalities of the association
- Coordinate and develop various internal projects within FriTime together with the committee
- Organise committee meetings and the FriTime General Assembly
- Keep the website up to date and publish news on social media
- Perform administrative tasks related to the association's objectives
Desired profile
- University degree (bachelor or master) in movement and sport sciences, social sciences or equivalent qualification
- Interest in promoting activities for childhood and youth
- Interest in the administrative management of non-profit associations
- Ability to work independently, organisational skills and good writing ability
- Interpersonal skills, ease in contacts with authorities
- Proficiency in common IT tools
- Availability for flexible working hours (evening meetings and weekend events)
- Fluent in French with good knowledge of German
