- As an IT specialist focusing on platform development, you plan, manage and maintain physical or virtual server systems and services
- You plan local networks (LAN), select suitable network components, install and configure them, and monitor ongoing operations
- You take care of the security and availability of systems and services as well as the performance of the network
- You ensure that information is protected and can be distributed securely
