Your responsibilities

As CEO, you bear overall responsibility for the strategic, financial and organisational development of sitem-insel AG. Together with the Board of Directors, the Executive Management and internal and external partners, you will shape the next development phase of the organisation.

• Ensuring long-term financial stability and economic self-sufficiency

• Further development of viable business models and active management of the service portfolio including expansion, partnerships, prioritisation or resizing of individual business areas

• Ongoing analysis of the market and environment in the areas of continuing education, services and MedTech as well as early detection of structural changes as a basis for strategic decisions

• Further development and implementation of a clearly focused corporate strategy

• Maintenance and further development of a high-quality network in industry, universities, politics and administration; building solution-oriented cooperations and partnerships

• Leadership of the Executive Management and further development of an institutionally viable, person-independent platform in close, transparent collaboration with the Board of Directors, especially the Chairman and the committees

Your profile

You bring a convincing entrepreneurial track record at the interface of industry, healthcare, research or education – ideally with experience in business model development or portfolio management. You are characterised by pronounced strategic thinking, strong implementation skills and several years of leadership experience with strategic and financial responsibility, as well as proven industry expertise, preferably in MedTech, Life Sciences or Public-Private Partnerships. You are experienced in dealing with political and regulatory stakeholders and have the credibility to bring different actors together – with diplomacy, assertiveness and high self-reflection. You hold a university degree, ideally with a doctorate, and are fluent in German and have very good English skills.
