Help us create affordable housing for families in Zurich
For over 100 years, the Familienwohnungen Foundation has stood for socially responsible, sustainable, and affordable housing for large families. With over 600 apartments in 8 settlements and a strong growth strategy, we are in an exciting phase of development and are looking for a committed and responsible individual for this purpose.
To strengthen our Property Management department, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a dedicated, organised, and communicative person as
Property Management Clerk (80%)
Your main tasks include:
- Administrative support for the Head of Property Management
- Preparing rental contracts, contract amendments/terminations, additional agreements
- Handling terminations and re-lettings (vacancy management / ensuring full occupancy) / rental contract discussions
- Organising and conducting apartment inspections (handover and acceptance)
- Preparing final accounts, recharges, and instalment agreements
- Maintaining and updating the list of interested parties
- Creating and publishing advertisements and tenant selection
- Checking, implementing, and ensuring compliance with the purpose retention regulations for subsidised and self-financed apartments
- Checking and approving creditors
- Participating in meetings and house sessions, as well as handling tenant concerns in cooperation with social work
- Preparing correspondence / notices for tenants
- General telephone and written information provision for authorities, interested parties, etc.
- Cooperation with other organisations (housing promotion, Domicil Foundation, SAW, SEW, WBG, etc.)
- Recording, updating, and modifying master data
- Processing mail
- Ensuring reception duties
- Assisting in the creation and optimisation of documentation, processes, and statistics, as well as obtaining offers from external service partners
- IT superuser
- Participation in projects depending on resources
You bring with you:
- Commercial basic training
- Further training in property management clerical work
- Experience in non-profit housing
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of people from different cultures and social backgrounds
- Cost awareness, as well as careful and sustainable use of resources
- Good PC user skills (M365, Abaimmo)
- Independent, flexible, reliable, and solution-oriented personality
