For our site in Ligerz as well as for other interesting tunnel construction projects, we are looking for a new 100% underground foreman.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the smooth running of work on site in a professional environment
• Properly prepare the tasks within your responsibilities
• Ensure strict compliance with occupational safety instructions
• Prepare daily and working hour reports.
• Organise and coordinate personnel, equipment and materials according to requirements
• Implement guidelines regarding quality, deadlines and environmental preservation
• Work closely with the site manager to ensure smooth operations
You bring
• Successful training as a foreman or several years of practical experience in underground construction
• Proven leadership expertise and demonstrated ability to effectively motivate teams
• Great flexibility, strong team spirit, high work capacity and constant pursuit of excellence
• Solid computer skills
• Experience in tunnel surveys and handling theodolites
• Possession of a mining permit of category B or C
• Availability to work on different sites
• Good knowledge of German or French is required, oral knowledge of Italian is an advantage
