Introduction
During the one-day internship, you will experience what a polymechanic does. After the welcome and some instructions, you can start drilling and milling. At the end of the day, you will have made your own mill game. We will conclude the day with a discussion.
Process
- Reception/Welcome
- Get to know the trainer, employees, and apprentices
- Go through the flyer "Training Otto Hofstetter AG"
- Safety instruction
- Understand the process and project
- Get to know the workplace
- Practical task "Mill game": process the base plate on the milling/drilling machine (drill holes/mill grid)
- Cut pins on the lathe (aluminum and brass)
- Company tour
- Final discussion/discuss further steps
