Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) is investing in the future by renovating and expanding its headquarters in Liestal. The project, expected to last until 2031, is currently in the preliminary planning phase. For this demanding large-scale project, we are seeking an experienced, assertive individual as overall project manager.You will be part of the Projects & Processes department. We manage the project portfolio, drive the development of our banking processes, and lead complex bank-wide projects. Our 16-member interdisciplinary team acts across the company as a strong bridge builder – characterised by drive and a great willingness to shape. For the holistic management and professional leadership of this major construction project, we are looking for you as the driving force and expert. After project completion, there are internal bank follow-up solutions for managing demanding subsequent projects.

Your area of responsibility
You...
- represent BLKB as the client towards authorities, planners, and contractors
- ensure the achievement of project goals through the consistent use of professional project management methods and are responsible for implementing and continuously monitoring project-related quality management for the construction project
- actively support the client throughout the entire project duration with strategic and operational issues, prepare well-founded decision-making bases, and ensure stage-appropriate reporting to the client and project committees
- act as the central contact person for the executive management, the bank council, and other important internal and external stakeholders, ensuring proactive and stage-appropriate information and communication policies
- take on the professional leadership of the interdisciplinary project team, coordinate cross-functional collaboration, and ensure high motivation and goal alignment through clear communication

Your profile
You...
- have a higher degree as an architect or civil engineer (FH/ETH) with a strong professional track record and additional training in project management
- bring several years of proven experience as an overall project manager on the client side for larger construction and real estate projects, preferably with knowledge of major renovation or re-use projects and experience in the financial sector
- are an assertive, confident, and negotiable personality who maintains an overview even in demanding situations, brings together different interests, and makes decisions
- have demonstrable experience in leading interdisciplinary project teams in the construction industry and in goal-oriented management of external partners
- distinguish yourself through excellent communication skills at all levels, combined with diplomatic tact
- convince through high initiative, structured and goal-oriented action, as well as a pronounced awareness of costs, quality, and risks
