• You lead a team of five consultative sales experts and strengthen the commercial success of the business unit.
• You develop customised monitoring and alerting solutions in the field of natural hazards.
• You maintain relationships with existing customers, build new contacts, and manage key accounts worldwide.
• You work on solutions for natural hazards such as avalanches, rockfall, debris flows, floods, and glacier lakes.
• You and your team make an important contribution to protecting people, infrastructure, and transport routes.
• You take responsibility for employees, customer projects, and the further development of an innovative business unit.
• Technical and personnel leadership of the natural hazards team
• Further development of sales processes as well as structuring the product portfolio and pricing
• Development of customised monitoring and alerting solutions in the field of natural hazards
• Further development of products and services in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Support in acquiring new projects and customers
• Participation in the strategic further development of the business unit
• Ensuring high quality standards and economically successful projects

• Experience in leading and developing consultative sales teams as well as a good understanding of professional sales operations, structured sales processes, and digital sales tools
• Enjoyment in winning and further developing projects in the field of natural hazards together with the team
• Completed studies (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) in environmental sciences, geology, geography, natural hazards, civil engineering, geophysics, or a comparable scientific-technical field
• Several years of professional experience in the field of natural hazards, environmental monitoring, or a comparable technical-scientific application area
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strong customer orientation, and a good sense of economic contexts as well as interest in the further development and digitalisation of sales processes
• High sense of responsibility, initiative, and an independent working style
• Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
