As an Automation Technician / Operations Electrician, you will perform the electrical maintenance and servicing of operational equipment and infrastructure at the Vals site within defined guidelines.

YOUR NEW TASKS:

Perform all electrical maintenance and servicing work
Troubleshoot faults in equipment and infrastructure, sometimes including weekend shifts
Repair and dismantle operational equipment and infrastructure
Set up, calibrate, and test new operational equipment in close cooperation with the production team
Report on completed work and ensure efficient collaboration and communication, especially within production
Implement improvement measures (process flows, automation, etc.)
Instruct production staff on simple troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on the equipment
Create and maintain cross-departmental contacts with production staff, suppliers, and external technicians
Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

Completed vocational training as an electrician, automation technician, or a similar qualification
Expertise in signal, control, and regulation technology
Experience with SPS STEP7/TIA is an advantage
Reliable, independent, and precise working style combined with
Flexibility and resilience
Quick comprehension, organizational talent, as well as a strong service and team mindset
Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty
Residence: reachable to production within 30-45 minutes
Experience with SAP and MS Office
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
