As an Automation Technician / Operations Electrician, you will perform the electrical maintenance and servicing of operational equipment and infrastructure at the Vals site within defined guidelines.
YOUR NEW TASKS:
- Perform all electrical maintenance and servicing work
- Troubleshoot faults in equipment and infrastructure, sometimes including weekend shifts
- Repair and dismantle operational equipment and infrastructure
- Set up, calibrate, and test new operational equipment in close cooperation with the production team
- Report on completed work and ensure efficient collaboration and communication, especially within production
- Implement improvement measures (process flows, automation, etc.)
- Instruct production staff on simple troubleshooting and maintenance tasks on the equipment
- Create and maintain cross-departmental contacts with production staff, suppliers, and external technicians
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations

- Completed vocational training as an electrician, automation technician, or a similar qualification
- Expertise in signal, control, and regulation technology
- Experience with SPS STEP7/TIA is an advantage
- Reliable, independent, and precise working style combined with
- Flexibility and resilience
- Quick comprehension, organizational talent, as well as a strong service and team mindset
- Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty
- Residence: reachable to production within 30-45 minutes
- Experience with SAP and MS Office
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
