The Spitäler fmi AG with over 1,600 employees includes the two hospitals Interlaken and Frutigen, the health center in Meiringen, the rescue service, the senior centers Weissenau and Frutigen, the walk-in clinic as well as various practices. The Seniorenpark Weissenau of Spitäler fmi AG sees itself as a competence center for the care and support of elderly people who can no longer live at home due to the severity and impairment of their health condition. The institution offers a home to 75 residents, of which 12 places are specifically reserved for people with dementia.
