EMWE AG, based in Zurich, combines extensive expertise in architecture, planning, and construction management. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and committed construction manager to start immediately (or by arrangement). Your area of responsibility

• You independently manage building construction projects during the execution phase

• You contribute to the clearance of requirements and site preparation

• You prepare specifications, conduct tendering and awarding processes, and assist in drafting contracts and order confirmations

• You plan construction sequences early, coordinate and organise

• You lead and accompany contractors and craftsmen involved on site

• You conduct construction meetings, interim and final acceptance of works, and prepare minutes

• You manage and supervise the construction site and contractors with quality and schedule controls

• You maintain the construction journal and the schedule programme

• You act as the interface between internal and external planners, authorities, and contractors

• You organise and carry out defect rectifications and 2-year warranty work

• You implement change requests from buyers or clients in collaboration with the project manager

• You support the project manager in preparing cost estimates and construction descriptions, in final acceptance and project handovers to the client, as well as in accounting, quantity control, and construction cost management

Your profile

• You have completed basic training in the construction sector and have solid professional experience in Switzerland as a construction manager for building projects

• You are responsible, structured, quality- and cost-conscious, as well as solution-oriented

• You have very good German skills and excellent knowledge of Swiss construction standards

• You are proficient in using common MS Office and construction administration programmes

• You have a confident and engaging manner, communicate transparently and convincingly, and are a well-regarded team player who thinks and acts for the company
