Würenlingen is a dynamic municipality in the Lower Aare Valley, District of Baden. At two school locations (Weissenstein/Tannenweg schoolhouses and Dorf schoolhouse), around 630 students from kindergarten to the 3rd upper level (SeReal) are taught. The district students attend classes in Endingen or Turgi.
Due to increased student numbers, the cantonal school management resources will be increased starting from the new school year 2025/26. Consequently, the existing co-school management model will undergo an adjustment. As of October 1, 2025, or by agreement, two school management positions will need to be filled, one of which is:
Head of School
including management of Cycle 2 (80%-100%)
Your area of responsibility:
- Operational head of the Würenlingen school
- Giving a strong profile to the newly created position of head of school
- Pedagogical, personnel, and professional leadership of Cycle 2 with approximately 260 students and around 35 teachers
- Collaboration in the school management team, school administration, and strategic authorities
- Ensuring and further developing school development and school organization
- Presentation and representation of the school in public
