TASKS

• Installation, configuration, maintenance and repair of systems and accessories of the Thermo
Fisher Scientific brand
• Support of the associated software in the laboratories of our customers
• Conducting device demonstrations as well as training and instruction of customers in
application and maintenance
• Precise technical and organisational planning, preparation and execution of
service assignments
• Technical and application-specific advice and support for our customers
• Participation in the further development of our service and support organisation, especially in
quality reports and technical documentation
• Support in the sale of services, for example service contracts, validations
and upgrades

REQUIREMENTS PROFILE

• Experience as a service technician in a comparable environment or completed
vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician with experience in the field of GC/GC-MS; alternatively
completed technical or scientific studies
• Independent, structured and cost-conscious way of working
• High willingness to travel, driving licence; mainly assignments in the German-speaking part of Switzerland, occasionally
also in Europe and overseas
• Good English skills, spoken and written
• French and/or Italian skills are an advantage
• Good knowledge in the field of IT hardware and software
• Knowledge of Chromeleon and TraceFinder is an advantage
