For the newly created position, we are looking for a

Senior Controller

• You advise executives and departments on financial and entrepreneurial issues and accompany them as a competent business management sparring partner.
• You develop reliable decision-making bases, analyses, and practical recommendations and assess economic development based on relevant key figures.
• You are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning, validate assumptions, and thus support the effective financial management of STI.
• You ensure transparent and causation-appropriate cost allocation through internal service charging and cost allocation accounting and continuously develop the charging models.
• You continuously develop management reporting, controlling instruments, and business management evaluations.
• You optimise reporting, planning, and controlling processes and actively shape the further development of our data and BI landscape.
• You work in cross-departmental projects and strengthen data quality, transparency, and traceability of our financial information.

• You have a completed business administration degree or an equivalent higher professional qualification with a focus on finance and controlling. Further training in controlling, financial management, or accounting complements your profile.
• You bring several years of experience in business controlling. Knowledge of public transport is a plus.
• You are proficient in reporting, planning, forecasting, budgeting, as well as in business analyses and key figure systems.
• You think analytically and interconnectedly, work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, and derive clear recommendations from complex contexts.
• You communicate appropriately for the target audience, convince with consulting competence, and move confidently between different stakeholders.
• You work confidently with Excel and Abacus. Experience with BI tools is an advantage. Additionally, you communicate fluently in German.
