From 1 June 2027, we are looking for an experienced individual who will be responsible for the finance and accounting of the Office for Culture and advise the office management as well as the municipal cultural institutions on business and strategic matters. They will play a special role in the financial assessment and support of our subsidised cultural organisations.

Your Tasks

• Leading the Finance and Controlling department and ensuring legally compliant finance and accounting including ICS and risk management
• Responsible for financial and task planning, budgeting, and annual accounts in collaboration with the office management, specialist departments, and municipal cultural institutions
• Analysing and assessing the financial situation of subsidised cultural organisations and developing business decision-making bases in subsidy controlling
• Leading the Administration and Finance working group and participating in cross-departmental financial projects
• Advising the office management on business and strategic matters and participating in the management committee of the Office for Culture

Your Profile

• Professional training in finance and accounting, accounting and controlling, or a business degree
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, business consulting, or auditing, ideally in public administration, culture, or the non-profit sector
• Excellent user knowledge of Abacus and confident handling of all common programmes
• Analytical, structured, and networked thinking with quick comprehension and high quality awareness
• Communicative and team-oriented personality with assertiveness, personal responsibility, and interest in the cultural sector
