Your tasks

• Lead international consulting projects, individually or as part of a team
• Manage training and capacity building activities, independently or as part of a team
• Manage and coordinate internal and international activities, including budget planning and reporting
• Support and develop outreach and communication activities
• Contribute to consolidating and expanding the IRCC network worldwide
• Support the IRCC research agenda in the fields of federalism, decentralisation, local administrations, human rights and minorities, democratisation and constitution-making, particularly (but not exclusively) focused on the Global South

This is a 4-year contract (with the possibility of extension depending on available funding)

Desired profile

• A doctorate in law, political science, economics or related field
• Research experience in the IRCC’s areas of interest, especially comparative federalism
• Relevant experience in international consulting, training and capacity building
• Significant experience in managing international projects
• Considerable experience in research and fundraising for research
• Willingness to travel in Europe and worldwide
• Excellent command of English and very good command of German or French
