Your tasks
- Lead international consulting projects, individually or as part of a team
- Manage training and capacity building activities, independently or as part of a team
- Manage and coordinate internal and international activities, including budget planning and reporting
- Support and develop outreach and communication activities
- Contribute to consolidating and expanding the IRCC network worldwide
- Support the IRCC research agenda in the fields of federalism, decentralisation, local administrations, human rights and minorities, democratisation and constitution-making, particularly (but not exclusively) focused on the Global South
This is a 4-year contract (with the possibility of extension depending on available funding)
Desired profile
- A doctorate in law, political science, economics or related field
- Research experience in the IRCC’s areas of interest, especially comparative federalism
- Relevant experience in international consulting, training and capacity building
- Significant experience in managing international projects
- Considerable experience in research and fundraising for research
- Willingness to travel in Europe and worldwide
- Excellent command of English and very good command of German or French
