Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation | approx. 20 inspection days per year | Grisons
The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation (OAG) is a service of the Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs. It includes the four sections agricultural measures, structural improvement, surveying and the GIS competence centre.
The Agricultural Control Service of Grisons (ACSG) is an inspection body accredited according to ISO/IEC 17020 and is responsible for agriculturally relevant inspections at DPA and summering farms. Within the ACSG controller team, it checks direct payment programmes, animal protection, primary production as well as various private law labels.
Within the cantonal administration, a varied and responsible activity awaits you, with short decision-making processes and a motivated and competent team.
For the Agricultural Control Service of Grisons we are looking for two motivated and experienced controllers for 1 September 2026.
- Inspection of programmes related to direct payments (DPA, PLCSI, URA, pasture contribution, summering), animal protection, primary production (animal traffic, veterinary medicines, animal health, hygiene in milk production), as well as private law labels such as IP-Suisse and Swiss AQ-Meat
- Completed agricultural training with at least two years of experience at a DPA or organic farm. Practical experience in field cultivation is desirable.
- Good IT skills
- Ability to communicate, manage conflicts and assert oneself
- Autonomy, reliability and high willingness to perform
- Knowledge of Romansh and/or Italian is an advantage
