Volleyball Coach
Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18 representing more than 130 nationalities. The La Châtaigneraie Campus is located in the hamlet of Châtaigneriaz overlooking the village of Founex and Lake Geneva. VOLLEYBALL COACH
La Châtaigneraie Campus – Sports Department (ECA)
Share your technical expertise and passion for volleyball to inspire our student-athletes within a unique international environment, acting as coach or assistant as needed.
In brief:

- Rate: Part-time (hours to be confirmed according to registrations)
- Hours: To be agreed (mainly afternoons/late afternoons and some weekends during tournaments)

Why this role is important:
As a Volleyball Coach / Assistant Coach at the La Châtaigneraie Campus, you play a key role in the physical and social development of our students. Depending on the session setup, you will be called upon to lead training sessions independently or to work in tandem supporting another coach. Your mission is to provide high-quality sports coaching, combining technical progress and team spirit, while guiding young people in learning perseverance and fair play.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the weekly volleyball session on Wednesday afternoons.
- Set progression goals adapted to age groups and student levels.
- Offer varied, stimulating, and safe sessions, in line with the sports department’s objectives.
- Work in synergy with the coaching team and campus sports managers.
- Possibility to supplement your working hours with assistance within the department as needed.
Profile sought:
Skills and Experience
- Youth and Sport (J+S) diploma in active volleyball or equivalent foreign diploma.
- Proven experience coaching young people aged 11 to 18 in volleyball. Experience with female/adolescent groups is a major asset.
- Fluency in French and/or English.
Personal qualities:
- Excellent teaching skills and rapport with teenagers.
- Energy, punctuality, and team spirit.
- Ability to adapt to an international and diverse school audience.
