The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for the approximately 18,000 residents with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centers, and the historic village of Kyburg. Our team at the sports center ensures the use of a well-functioning infrastructure in a well-maintained environment. In summer, guests and clubs have access to a spacious outdoor pool with a mini-golf course, beach volleyball court, street workout, pump track, and in winter, two artificial ice rinks for sports, play, and fun. We are looking for a service-oriented personality as of now or by agreement.
HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE WITH US:
- Responsibility for the smooth operation in winter and summer
- Preparation and maintenance of the outdoor pool and the artificial ice rink
- Monitoring and maintenance of the technical facilities
- Cleaning of the indoor and outdoor facilities as well as the green areas
- Maintenance of the machinery
- Maintaining contact with guests, supervising safety, and ensuring an orderly operation
- Cash service in case of personnel shortages
HERE'S WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT:
- You have professional experience as a swimming and ice master or hold a vocational qualification in a craft/technical profession (preferably electrical or sanitary).
- You already possess the Brevet igba-PRO, the igba diplomas BAKU/EIKU, the BLS-AED certificate, and the driver's license category B or have the willingness, potential, high swimming competence, and interest to further develop into a swimming and ice master.
- Besides the professional qualifications, you convince with an independent and reliable working style and high social competence to master even demanding situations in interpersonal and technical areas.
- You have a flair for dealing with guests and clubs and are willing to work in shifts as well as for evening and weekend assignments, along with temporal flexibility for occasional overtime during peak times or compensation in quieter phases.
